Santa Gula is a small restaurant located in the lively Barcelona district of Gràcia that offers an excellent culinary offer.
Before our proposal, the restaurant was already full of clients, but the client found the necessity to make a change of image, based on the quality of the materials and to enhance the local atmosphere. In addition, it had to be done in a rather small time taking advantage of summer vacations.
Natural wood as a predominant material, in floors, tables, chairs and the bar. This material gives warmth and distinction to the place, the qualitative connotations necessary to accompany the food that is served.
The small size of the restaurant was also key to considering new ways of exploiting the space, such as the location of the bar against the wall, forming a set with storage spaces, access doors to kitchens and bathrooms. And the proposal of showing other technical elements such as refrigerators and dishwashers, which were traditionally hidden.
Once reopened, Santa Gula has become one of the best known restaurants in the area.
